How different!

In my country there are many differences between men and women in all aspects: language, the way the greet each other, even the way they think. For example when men speak they always use the word "uon" it does't have an specific meaning but it is something that reflect masculinity. Women will never say that word in their speech, they tend to use the word "chama" which means gals, and they use all the time for example they usually say "hey chamas let's go to the mall" or "that dress looks beautiful chama!". When women greet they kiss on the cheek; That is something that men also do but not between them. they usually have a special greeting with their hands. Another very important difference are the conversation topics men always talk about hobbies o whatever that make them forget the everyday's problems, women instead talk about personals problems and try to help each others. In Venezuela men and women are have differences, however that makes relationships more interesting and bearable because they enjoy learning about each others

Snowboarding at Sunshine!

One of the most exiting things I've done is snowboarding. I went with the activity program to Sunshine during  the fall program, it was the best feeling I've felt. At first I felt a little bit scared about what could happen because I'd heard that some people had died there before. Also I was scared of getting on the gondola because I have a fear of height. Everything changed when I started snowboarding, all that fear turned into an adrenaline rush which made me fell so exited. The fact of going down the hill so fast make me wanting to start again and again. That was my first extreme sport I tired and the most exiting, i can't wait to try it again

Venezuelan music

The music in Venezuela has a very huge variety, it has a lot of African, Spanish and Caribbean influence because of the mixture that existed during the age of slavery. From Africa we got the percussion and that style of dancing we have. From Spain we got strings such as el Cuatro, the Harp and the Mandolin; these instruments are very important in our music named Joropo. From the Caribbean we got our own style of Salsa and Merengue in a Venezuelan style. All these rhythms are mixed in a wonderful cocktail which is our Venezuelan Music

Good luck guys!

A very common scam in my country is a game called "encuentra la bola" or find the ball in English. the rules are simple there are three kind of black glasses with a small ball, a guy put the ball inside off one of the glasses and shuffle them. Then you have to follow the movement and guess which glass has the ball inside if you think that you know where exactly the ball is you can bet and win some money. The deception in this game is the guy who shuffle the glasses has some peers, these guys bet a big mount of money and win everything. Then when you are confident and bet money they push you and make you lose concentration and pick the wrong glasses and lose your money. Those kind of scam are always in big celebrations with a lot of people to make harder to the police to catch them. This is also very dangerous because can start a fight and get involved firearms.

I liked an advertisement that I found in YouTube. It belongs to a pop company called Mountain Dew, with a famous actor Steven Segal. The add shows Steven going to buy a soda in a grocery store, but that store was being robbed by 5 guys. Steven didn't konw that, so he entered as if nothing to the refrigerator. the robbers tried to attack him, but when  he opened the door he kocked two of them. Then he went to pay his soda but he didn't find his wallet so looked in his jacket, he found it but when he did it he snacked other guy. the other guy was scarred a ran out of that place, the owner of the store thanked Steven. Steven surpised gave teh owner a autograph and leaved.
